Recognizing Dr. Philipia Hillman as THRUUE’s Vice President of Talent and Client Solutions
Dr. Philipia Hillman, a leading expert in strength-based leadership development, joined THRUUE as Vice President of Talent and Client Solutions in April, 2020. We learned from partnering with Philipia in the past that she is a fantastic fit with our clients and our team. During her first quarter with us, Dr. Hillman took on responsibilities for THRUUE’s people management function and led client projects focused on organizational strategic planning and leadership alignment. She also co-authored a survey of global leaders and identified implications of the future of corporate culture amid COVID-19. The resulting report, Corporate Culture After COVID-19, was published on Inc.com and Culture U.
After hitting the ground running, Dr. Hillman shared excitement for what is to come. “Our world is in the midst of improvisation and transformation. I see the work THRUUE does as a social imperative,” said Dr. Hillman. “It’s about pacing with leaders to address today’s realities and tomorrow’s possibilities. My strength-based approach and leadership development background is a perfect fit with the amazing talent, relevant offerings, and collective imagination of the THRUUE Crew. I’m looking forward to continue partnering with clients in support of their strategic growth and culture efforts.”
Dr. Hillman has more than twenty-five years of experience enabling leaders to drive change in government, academia, associations and the private sector through cultural transformation, strategy, facilitation, leadership development, organizational assessment and coaching. She has consulted for a wide range of organizations including the US Environmental Protection Agency, the National Weather Service, CONSOL Energy, and government contractor CSRA. She holds degrees from Howard and American University, and has served as adjunct faculty at both institutions. She earned her coaching certification from George Mason University and organizational development certification from Georgetown University.
